Communication through Creation: Promoting sustainability across social platformsShort-Form Specialist
In the ever-evolving world of social media, it’s important to have a guide.
As a social media short-form video producer I make it my mission to stay up to date with the latest tools available to promote your content so you don’t have to. I work with NGOs to create Reels and TikToks that successfully deliver the desired message through captivating visuals – resulting in an increase in engagement and attracting more people who care about causes of sustainability and conservation.
BDMLR rehabilitate seals at their own Marine Mammal Hospital. Unfortunately, due to the rising cases of seals in distress, they have been in need of a new facility for some time. They have set out and successfully raised the £30,000 needed to do so. However, this promotional video highlights their continual need for fund raising to continue their important work.
“Seal Rescuers” is a short film which highlights the effort and hard work from both British Divers Marine Life Rescue and Cornwall Seal Group Research Trust that contributes to seal conservation in Cornwall. We follow Sue Sayer of CSGRT and Dan Jarvis of BDMLR in their individual roles for the rescue and rehabilitation of injured seals.
CWT’s initiative “Cornwall Charter of the Sea” brought together the local community to discuss and create a new plan of action to promote nature recovery in their marine environment. As a device to help empower this community to make decisions that will affect their local area, this promotional video invites the individual to have their say and take a survey which will directly affect the Cornwall Charter of the Sea.
CWT began the “Charter of the Sea” initiative with a trial in the Mounts Bay area. This functioned in the same way, bringing together the Mounts Bay community to discuss ways to promote nature recovery in their local marine environment. This promotional video invites the members of this community to come together to express their individual perspectives towards the creation of their Charter of the Sea.
